At Precision Gymnastics Academy, we strive to offer exceptional gymnastics training to all of our students, toddler children through advanced competitive gymnasts. Our gym is a unique and extraordinary place to learn gymnastics because we focus just as strongly on our non-competitive gymnasts as on our competitive and elite training gymnasts.

In our Kinder-Gym program, toddlers through kindergarteners sing, play games, and have fun while learning basic gymnastics skills focusing on balance, coordination, and flexibility. Our school-age gymnasts progress through Junior Olympics Levels I - III, and our instructors teach according to an individualized, progressive curriculum designed to motivate, challenge, and reward gymnasts at all levels. Our Level I - III gymnasts will have several opportunities to perform routines and earn awards in non-competitive exhibitions held throughout the year. At the competitive level, we have experienced instructors training teams Level IV through Level 10, TOPS and Pre-Elite, the most advanced level of USA Junior Olympic Competitive Gymnastics.

At Precision Gymnastics Academy, we believe in well-rounded fun and fitness for the whole family and, therefore, we offer a variety of physical activity programs. In addition to teaching all levels of gymnastics, we offer classes in dance, martial arts, and adult fitness taught by skilled instructors. Also, we offer Gym-Care on weekday mornings, Kinder-Gym & School-Age Open Gyms, and Saturday Night Fun (Parent's Night Out), giving children the opportunity to play, socialize and learn gymnastics in a uniquely fun, exciting and safe setting.

MISSION STATEMENT

Our mission at Precision Gymnastics Academy is to provide the highest quality of gymnastics instruction to children of all ages and skill levels. The balance, coordination, flexibility, and concentration that children learn in their gymnastics classes will help them to succeed either as advanced level gymnasts or in any physical activity they choose to pursue. Our dedicated and experienced instructors and brand-new, state-of-the-art facility will ensure that each child enjoys learning gymnastics in a safe, fun, challenging, and positive environment. At Precision Gymnastics we commit ourselves to helping children reach their fullest potential and achieve their goals and dreams.

OWNERS

The owners of Precision Gymnastics Academy are Joe and Lisa Gutierrez and Vicki Davis. Joe and Lisa spent the last two years coaching at a prominent gymnastics school in California where they were both competitive team instructors. Before his move to California, Joe coached competitive gymnastics in Albuquerque for over 15 years, training state champions, regional champions, and national qualifiers and establishing himself as one of New Mexico's premier instructors in women's Junior Olympic gymnastics. Lisa also coached gymnastics for several years in Albuquerque, and during her gymnastics career, she has been a preschool instructor, recreational gymnastics director, and head team coach of state champions. Joe and Lisa are extremely excited about returning to Albuquerque to open Precision Gymnastics.

Vicki has coached in Atlanta, GA, where she competed as an advanced gymnast for several years, in Dallas, TX, and in Albuquerque. She has coached preschool, recreation, and competitive gymnastics and trained state champions and championship teams. Joe, Lisa, and Vicki will use their extensive knowledge and experience in the sport of gymnastics to create an exceptional gymnastics training center.

FACILITY

We have custom built a beautiful, state-of-the-art 12,000 sq.ft. facility for Precision Gymnastics Academy. We have all brand-new, top-of-the-line gymnastics equipment for our beginning and competitive gymnasts. We have a 40' long tumble trampoline, and an in-ground trampoline. Our 6' deep foam pit is 34' long and has a vault, tumble strip, tumble trampoline, and set of uneven bars entering into it. We have a separate preschool / beginning gym area filled with brand-new, age-appropriate equipment. Our facility and equipment will provide a safe, fun, and challenging environment for children of all ages and skill levels.

In addition to our large, open gymnastics area, we have a separate studio for our dance, martial arts, and adult fitness classes. We also have a separate room for birthday parties and our morning Gym-Care children.
